![]() Ironically though, the campaigns in Starcraft 2 does carry over "research" that gives you bonuses, etc. Not only is it real time, it exists mostly for multiplayer and fundamentally, there's no gameplay elements that should or could persist from game to game. The only mana you can't recover would be speed bonuses and missed dragons. I believe this does lock you out of a couple endings (Kyouko & Tokimi), but you can't get those on the first play through anyways. ![]() Additionally, if necessary, you can perform a sword release to reset a character to level 1 and get all of the mana back. Esperia explains it before one of the early fights. However, the game does tell you that mana is finite. Additionally, you get automatically screwed for something like.if you don't have a blue spirit with a sufficient tier of ice banisher, but you have no way of knowing what level the character needs to be. You're actually better off concentrating all of your mana into one overpowered squad rather than spreading it out, which imo, is not good design. The game balance was a bit poor with regard to distribution. ![]()
